Silicon Sculpting

Silicon has no specific innate state and characteristics, except for its capacity to perfectly simulate reality, which is why it’s used in special effects so often.

Bronze Sculpting

I enjoy creating indoor and oudoor tatutary items including western statues, calssical statues, children statues, wildlife statues, aquatic scultures, and bronze fountains.

Movie Makeup FX

I’d like to include some of your recognitions and projects you’ve worked on as the introduction for this service.

I Am A Sculpture and Special FX Artist

My IMDB Biography

Nick Marra’s career spans over 25 years in the movie makeup effects industry. His work has been seen in numerous films, television shows and commercials.

Some of the more notable films he has been a part of are; Jurassic Park, Terminator 3, Chronicles of Narnia, Ali, and Lake Placid. Nick was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the youngest of 4 siblings to an Italian father and Cuban mother. He discovered early on his love of movies and his artistic ability. At the tender age of 8 he began putting spines on his plastic dinosaur toys to recreate one of his childhood favorites, “Godzilla”.

By his early teens he was determined to pursue his dream of being a professional makeup FX artist. He moved to California in his mid-twenties and hasn’t regretted a thing. A veteran of over 150 movies, Nick’s personal works are in the collection of some of Hollywood’s brightest lights: Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jim Cameron, Steven Speilberg, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and Greg Nicotero, among many others.

Years Of Experience

After 30+ years working as a sculpter and special effects make-up artist in the television and film industry, Marra started his own studio where he now creates life-size silicone figures, bronze busts, and statues for the likes of private clients, business owners, production companies, award ceremonies, national organizations and more.

Sculpture Projects

One of my trademarks, I’ve been told, is having the ability to capture the essence of the person more than just a traditional likeness. I always strive to create a living being with each of my pieces.

Special FX Projects

Since working on close to 200 films, commercials , and TV shows. I was fortunate enough to work on some of the bigger Special FX movies of the era (Jurassic Park 1 and 2 , Terminator 3, The Walking Dead , Star Trek 6, Halloween 6 , and Nightmare on a Elm St 6, to name a few).
